Driver Hire Winchester is recruiting experienced Class 2 drivers for an excellent opportunity with a leading client in the waste industry. This is a great chance to join a dependable team, enjoy consistent full-time work, and secure a potential permanent position.
🚛 About the Role
You will be operating Skip and RoRo lorries, supporting essential waste operations across the region.
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
- 12-week temp to perm opportunity
- Working hours: 6:00am – 4:00pm (approx. 50-hour week)
- Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips
- Operating RoRo vehicles and tipping at designated sites
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork, PODs and PDA systems are accurately updated
- Working to scheduled delivery time slots
✔️ What We’re Looking For
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Minimum 6–12 months driving experience
- Skip and RoRo experience preferred (training provided if needed)
- Chain experience beneficial
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Strong understanding of road safety and compliance procedures
