Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Portsmouth)

Type: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £15.05 – 18.50 per hour

Location: Portsmouth 

Start Date: Immediate

Are you a skilled Class 2 Driver with experience in multi-drop deliveries? Join our team for immediate, temporary agency work with our customer based in Fareham, a well-established metal wholesaler. This role involves delivering across the Southeast region, including London, with set routes and a manageable number of drops per shift.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid driver’s licence with no more than 3 points.
• Valid Class 2 (HGV/LGV, Category C) driving licence.
• Valid CPC card and Tacho Card.
• Some previous driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to different assignments and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 2 vehicles for multi-drop deliveries (1–10 drops per shift).
• Complete deliveries across the Southeast region, including London.
• Follow set delivery routes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Assist with loading and unloading, with most goods handled via forklift.
• Handle some manual duties as required and operate vehicles safely.
• Maintain strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
