HGV Class 2 Cage Driver

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Cage Driver 

Type: Temporary Contract (6-8 weeks) – potential perm position at the end

Pay Rate: £18.50 per hour

Location: Fareham

Start Date: Immediate (Assessment Required)

Our Fareham based customer is after Class 2 drivers with cage experience. You will be delivering wholesale food, drink and catering supplies to commerical premises on set routes. This is a Monday to Friday role c. 45 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (HGV/LGV, Category C) driving licence with a clean driving record
• Valid CPC card and Tacho Card
• Previous commercial driving experience with cages and is essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 2 vehicles for cage deliveries to convenience stores
• Ensure safe loading, transportation, and unloading of goods using cages
• Complete multi-drop deliveries in a timely and professional manner
