HGV 2 Driver

Driver Hire Motherwell are currently looking for Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to work on various contracts throughout ML, G67 and G68 postcode areas.

Roles include but not limited to;
– Pump hire deliveries
– Store deliveries
– Window & doors deliveries to residential areas
– General Haulage
– Flooring deliveries
– Timber deliveries
– Wholesale deliveries
– Deliveries to building and construction sites
– Handball may be required

We are also looking for drivers with additional skills which include; Tippers, IPAF & HIAB. Work available is a mix of ongoing & ad-hoc including options if only a couple of days a week suits.

You will need;
– A Class 2 licence
– CPC card & Digital Tachograph card
– Previous experience (preferred but not essential for some roles)
– No more than 6 points on your licence*
– No DD, DR or IN endorsements*

Due to the nature of this role, previous experience within a similar field dealing with heavy manual handling would be advantageous. Some insurance restrictions may apply. Contact us for more information.

Rate of pay;
– £14.00per hour via PAYE
– Holiday accrual included
We also have the option to go on an alternative PAYE model with holiday allowance included in an enhanced pay rate.
