Andy O’Donnell has this week bought our Driver Hire Nottingham franchise.
In a successful career spanning thirty years, Andy has worked in senior management roles for a number of plcs. He’s also run two of his own businesses – a convenience store and post office in Leicestershire and, most recently, a ‘With Thanks’ confectionery franchise. Out of hours, Andy is a keen cyclist and in 2007 completed a sportive stage of the ‘Tour de France’.
“I’m really looking forward to further developing the business here in Nottingham,” says Andy. “The office has been open for over 20 years and has an excellent reputation. I’m really looking forward to working with the team who continue to deliver an outstanding 24/7 service.”
Driver Hire specialises in the supply of staff to the road transport and logistics industry. It’s one of the UK’s longest established and most highly respected franchisors with a network of over 100 offices. They help when customers need extra staff to deal with holidays, illness or business expansion.
“We’re delighted to welcome Andy to Driver Hire,” says Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director. “Throughout the purchase process, Andy’s communication and negotiation skills have confirmed that he’s a perfect addition to our nationwide network. And, with his extensive experience in sales, marketing and operations, he’s got all the expertise needed to be a highly successful Driver Hire franchisee.”
