Driver Hire is continuing its excellent record on franchise sales.
The 2016 calendar year saw eight new franchisees join the network. And now, the first two months of 2017 have already seen two new franchis
ees completing the purchase process, starting a new career running their own business.
January saw Harriette Wood take over the highly successful Driver Hire Stockport office from long-standing franchisees, Michael and Nicol Connaughton. Harriette previously worked in property sales and lettings. She also spent time working abroad, running a restaurant.
Meanwhile, in Shrewsbury, Neil Pharo liked the business he was managing so much – he bought it! As a result Neil, along with his partner, Heather Harrison, are now the proud owners of Driver Hire Shrewsbury & Telford. Based in Shrewsbury, Neil, Heather and their team will also be covering mid-Wales. Neil previously worked in the financial services industry; Heather has many years of experience in the retail sector where she was a store manager.
Welcoming Harriette, Heather and Neil to Driver Hire, Franchise Sales Director, Graham Duckworth, said: “We’re delighted that they are now Driver Hire franchisees. They have chosen an excellent time to do it. They’re joining a growing network that continues to lead the way in the world of franchising. We’re heading for a fourth consecutive record trading year with almost a quarter of our franchisees already past one million turnover for the current financial year.”
