Yard Operative

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday (39 hours)- there may be the occasional requirement on a Saturday but this would be a rare requirement. This is a temporary ongoing position with the possibility of permanent employment in the future

Main Responsibilities –

Ensuring the yard and workshop areas are kept tidy.

Stacking and moving hoses and equipment in the yard area as required

Cleaning equipment returned from hire with a Jet washer and checking for any repairs that may be required.

Helping to load equipment off / on lorries – this is why preference for a Forklift License

Making up equipment using Bench drill, Hand Drill and Stapler to ensure that there are adequate stock levels in the inventory.

You will be working alongside an established team member who will provide the relevant training and guidance.
