🚗 Category B Driver – Vehicle Movements | Flexible Work
💷 £13.00 per hour | Ad Hoc / Part-Time
Driver Hire Edinburgh West are looking for reliable Category B Drivers to support a range of vehicle movement assignments, driving vehicles safely from one location to another.
This is a flexible, ad hoc opportunity that may suit drivers looking for part-time work, with shifts potentially available across early mornings, midday and evenings.
🚗 The Role
- Drive vehicles safely between specified collection and delivery locations.
- Complete A-to-B vehicle movements across a variety of assignments.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after each journey.
- Report any vehicle defects or issues promptly.
- Follow all relevant safety procedures and driving regulations.
- Maintain a professional approach when representing Driver Hire and our clients.
✅ Essential Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence held for at least 2 years.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
- No more than 3 penalty points, minor offences only.
- No IN, DD, DR or CD convictions.
- Valid Disclosure Scotland certificate, or willingness to obtain one at your own expense.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work at different times of the day.
📅 Work & Availability
Assignments may be available across a variety of shift times, including:
- 🌅 Early mornings
- ☀️ Midday
- 🌙 Evenings
Please note: This is ad hoc work, so hours are not guaranteed and will depend on available assignments and client requirements.
💷 Pay
- £13.00 per hour
- Flexible, ad hoc and part-time assignments.
