Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe are recruiting experienced van drivers to work with a range of established businesses throughout Scunthorpe and the surrounding area.
We have opportunities ranging from individual shifts and additional work through to regular ongoing assignments, making this suitable for drivers looking for either flexibility or more consistent work.
What sort of work is available?
No two customers are exactly the same. Depending on the assignment, your work could include:
- Local and regional deliveries
- Multi-drop work
- Deliveries to businesses and retail customers
- Loading and unloading
- Early morning starts
- Weekday and weekend work
- Regular ongoing assignments as well as ad-hoc shifts
Some positions are particularly customer-facing, so we’re interested in drivers who understand that they’re representing our customer when they arrive at a delivery point.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need:
- A full UK driving licence (Category B)
- No more than 3 points on your licence – minor endorsements considered
- Previous commercial van driving or multi-drop experience preferred
- A reliable and punctual approach
- Good communication skills
- A professional, customer-focused attitude
We’re particularly interested in drivers who take pride in doing the job properly – looking after the vehicle, treating customers well and representing both Driver Hire and our clients professionally.
