🚚 Van Driver / Furniture Delivery Driver
💷 £13.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Van Drivers to join our client’s furniture delivery team.
You’ll be delivering flat-pack furniture directly to customers’ homes, working alongside a dedicated 2nd Man to ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
🚚 The Role
- Drive a company van to deliver flat-pack furniture to residential properties.
- Work alongside a 2nd Man to load, unload and carry furniture into customers’ homes.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at every delivery.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous van driving or delivery experience is essential.
- Good geographical knowledge and confidence using navigation systems.
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting on a daily basis.
- A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
- Must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
📅 Working Pattern
You will work one of the following schedules:
- Sunday to Wednesday
- Wednesday to Saturday
⏰ Hours will be discussed at interview.
1-hour unpaid lunch break provided each working day.
