Van Delivery Driver – Wholesale Food Distribution
Location: Redruth, Cornwall
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour (£16.25 for Saturday)
Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 06:30 start
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary Ongoing
We are currently recruiting for a Van Delivery Driver to join a busy wholesale food distributor based in Redruth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent, full-time work throughout the summer period, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering wholesale food products to customers across Cornwall and the surrounding areas, ensuring orders arrive safely, accurately, and on time.
As the face of the business, you’ll provide excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of professionalism and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering wholesale food products to customers
- Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Completing delivery paperwork where required
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience beneficial
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
