Transport Administrator – 6 month contract.
Location: Middlewich, Cheshire.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00.
Contract: 6 Month Contract.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-respected transport company based in Middlewich, who are looking for a competent and professional Transport Administrator to join their team.
This role is initially lasting for 6 months but may result in a full time job in line with customer requirements.
The Role:
Working as part of a small, friendly team in a busy transport office, you’ll be supporting drivers and office colleagues face-to-face via phone, and over emails.
This is a fast-paced environment where excellent communicational skills and attention to detail are key.
Key Duties:

Assisting drivers to resolve queries swiftly so they can remain on schedule.

Answering incoming calls and handling Transport related enquiries.

Updating reports and logs for both drivers and vehicles.

Assisting planners to allocate routes to customers and suppliers.

General administrational tasks.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a Transport Environment.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Good IT skills and attention to detail.

A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of the Road Transport (Working Time) Directive and Driving Legislation is desirable but not essential.
What’s on Offer:

Monday to Friday hours – 07:30 to 17:00.

Pay rate between £13.00ph to £14.00ph depending on experience.
