💷 £14.29 per hour
⏰ Monday to Friday | Approx. 7:00am – 5:00pm

Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver to join a well-established and expanding business based in Broxburn.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for an experienced driver looking for long-term stability, with a role that combines driving, deliveries and regular customer interaction.
🚛 The Role
You will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to customers throughout Broxburn and the surrounding areas, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and professionally.
Your duties will include:
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB safely and efficiently
- Loading and delivering goods to customers
- Planning routes to ensure deliveries are completed on time
- Completing all deliveries accurately and professionally
- Following drivers’ hours, tachograph and transport legislation
- Maintaining high health & safety standards
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery sites
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Supporting the wider operation and learning additional duties where required
📋 Candidate Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- HIAB certification – essential
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible and willing to get involved with wider operational duties
FLT experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
