Position: Tanker HGV2 (cylinders)
Location: Ivybridge
We here at Driver Hire are currently looking to take on experienced HGV class 2 drivers with ADR (tanks) licences to work for one of our clients based in Ivybridge. Our customer is the leading supplier of gas in the UK and is looking for experienced, professional Cat C Drivers to join their team for a long-term temporary position of 2 years. About the job:
- Full time position Monday-Friday, with a 1 in 4 rota of working a Saturday shift.
- Shifts will be 07:00 – 16:15.
- 2 year contract, effective end date being 30/05/28.
- Delivering commercial gas cylinders.
- Pay will be £36.749 per annum
- PAYE – Internal payroll meaning we don’t use umbrella firms!
- Training and PPE will be provided.
Job requirements:
- A full and valid Category C (Class 2) licence with an in-date CPC and Digi and ADR cards are required with no more than 6 points & no DR, DD or IN convictions for insurance purposes.
- Valid ADR (tanks) ticket is required.
- Previous HGV driving experience would be highly beneficial.
- The ability to lift and carry items throughout the day, as well as driving, is a requirement due to the physical nature of the job.
