Driver Hire Gatwick are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Sweeper driver to join one of our well established clients in Burgess Hill. In this role you will be working Monday to Friday, operating a Road Sweeper. This will involve clearing waste streams of sites/areas around Sussex.
Responsibilities
- Operating a road sweeper collecting various waste streams from sites/areas in Sussex
- Being able to operate left-hand drive
- Monday to Friday – Start times vary
- Conducting daily vehicle checks in line with Health & Safety requirements
- Ensuring compliance with all road traffic laws and regulations
- Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date, signed and submitted daily
About You
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD/IN/DR/TT)
- Able to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
- Comfortable ensuring loads are secure at all times
- PPE required: Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
- Own transport required to commute to and from the depot
- Must comply with all on-site health and safety procedures
Pay & Benefits
- £19.00 per hour (Umbrella rate)
- Weekly pay
- Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate
