Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Skip Driver for a full-time role with a busy and well-established client.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for stable, full-time hours with the potential to secure a long-term or permanent position.
🕒 Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am start times
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Overtime available depending on workload
🔧 The Role
- Driving a Class 2 skip vehicle on planned daily routes
- Delivering, exchanging, and collecting skips at commercial and domestic sites
- Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE:
- £14.50 per hour
- £19.32 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
PAYE Advanced:
- £16.25 per hour
- £21.66 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
✅ Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed

✅ Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous skip driving or similar experience preferred
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
