HIAB Driver – Long‑Term Ongoing Work | Penrith
Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting an experienced HIAB Driver for long term ongoing work with our well known and established client in the Penrith area .This is a great opportunity for a skilled HIAB driver looking for steady, reliable work with a possibility of Temp-perm
The role involves operating a HIAB‑equipped vehicle to safely deliver and unload materials, so a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and compliance is essential.
The Role for a HIAB Driver:
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane
- Operating the HIAB safely to load and unload goods
- Completing local and regional deliveries as required
- Carrying out daily vehicle and crane safety checks
- Ensuring all lifting operations are completed in line with regulations
- Representing both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally
What You’ll Need:
- Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
- Valid and in‑date HIAB certificate
- Previous HIAB driving experience preferred
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of site safety and lifting procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

- £17.00-£25.50 per hour PAYE ADV
- Temp-perm after 12 weeks
- Shifts run across Monday -Saturday from 07:00am starts
- Average 10 hour shifts
