Our clients in the TQ postcode area are looking for part-time or full-time HGV drivers for both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to join reputable companies and engage in ad hoc work with the possibility of ongoing positions.
It would be advantageous if you had your licence for at least one year and had experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
Depending on client needs, we provide a variety of services, such as palletised (minimum 1 year experience required), refuse, caged, skips, night trunk runs, and nights out.
About the job:
- Class 1: £15.69–£18.49 per hour
- Class 2: £14.57–£16.81 per hour
- PAYE ADV (Other PAYE Models Available)
- Monday to Saturday
- Guaranteed 8 hours of pay
- Hourly pay allows you to earn more with increased hours worked
- Weekly pay
- Full training provided
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of various goods using HGV vehicles
- Ensuring the safe transportation of goods
- Providing excellent customer service
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1/Class 2 (Category CE/C) Licence
- Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
- One year’s experience driving an HGV
- Experience with tail lifts is an advantage, with full training provided
