HGV Driver

Driver Hire Bournemouth is offering a flexible Class 1 HGV driving position for an experienced HGV 1 driver in Andover.

Position: Class 1 HGV Driver (Category C+E)

Shifts: Monday – Friday (flexible depending on your availability)

Start time: 07:00 (night-trunks also available)

Start date: ASAP

Location: Andover

Pay rate:

• £14.50-£16.75 per hour (Mon-Fri)
• £20 per hour weekends
• PAYE weekly
• Holiday pay accrued

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will be:

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle (curtain-sider/double-decker)
• Delivering pallets manually (day shift) or having pallets loaded/unloaded for you (night shift),
• Given planned routes and a loaded vehicle
• Offering excellent customer service

The successful Class 1 HGV Driver MUST have:

• A valid UK Class 1 driving licence
• A valid CPC and digital-tachograph card
• A minimum of 6-months recent experience
• No more than 6-penalty points on their driving licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
• Own transport to travel to work
