HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Excellent Earning Potential!
Driver Hire Slough is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for an established national transport operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for varied work, competitive rates of pay and the chance to travel across the UK.
Please note: This role requires flexibility, including working days, nights and weekends, with nights away from home for up to 6 days at a time.
The Role
- Operating specialist HGV Class 2 vehicles across the UK.
- Working varied shifts, typically 8–12 hours per day.
- Travelling nationwide to support operational requirements.
- Staying away from home for up to 6 days when required.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
- Working safely and professionally at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience holding a Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
- Maximum 6 penalty points for minor motoring offences.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Comfortable travelling nationwide and staying away from home.
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
