HGV CLASS 1 VACANCY – BRIDGEND
We have a long-term Class 1 driver vacancy for day shifts in the Bridgend area. This role is likely to become permanent with a well-established national company and offers excellent pay rates and working conditions.
Our client manufacture high quality Timber Frame, Roof Trusses, Posi-Joists, and a wide range of engineered timber. Deliveries are to national housebuilder sites across South Wales.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
•Complete daily vehicle safety checks, safe loading/securing load of vehicle, report maintenance defects, adhere to company driving standards.
•Lift materials and load vehicles, always adopting safe lifting and handling procedures.
•Ensure that the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times for example protective boots, high visibility jackets, helmets and gloves.
•Completing delivery paperwork.
We would require –
HGV Class One driver min 1 year exp
No more than 6 points with no DR10, IN10 endorsements
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
