HGV Class 2 Tanker driver

Our client, a well‑established and respected waste management company based in Braintree, is currently seeking an experienced Class 2 (CAT C) Tanker Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable work with a reputable local company operating within the environmental and wastewater sector.

The Role

• Operating a Class 2 tanker vehicle
• Collecting and transporting liquid waste safely and efficiently
• Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork
• Ensuring full compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and site staff

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (CAT C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous tanker, waste, or liquid waste experience preferred (training may be provided)
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Physically fit as involves manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
