HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

Driver Hire Sudbury are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Refuse lorry driver, for an immediate start.

We are seeking, experienced and reliable HGV drivers to work with one of our clients operating dustcart / bin lorry collection vehicles in the Sudbury area.

Job Details:

• Pay rate: £16.64 per hour
• 06.30am – 15.00pm, 30min unpaid break
• 40hrs per week, overtime after 15.30 (time and a half)
• Monday to Friday
• Ongoing and ad hoc work available
• Immediate start
• Weekly pay

The Role:

• Driving and operating refuse / recycling collection, dustcart vehicles
• Working as part of a collection team on residential or commercial routes
• Ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous refuse or dustcart experience advantageous but not essential
• Good understanding of safety procedures
• Reliable and team-focused attitude
