HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

Driver Hire Stockport is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) HIAB Driver to join our team and work for a variety of clients across the SK postcode.

As the peak season approaches, our HIAB work becomes extremely busy, and we can offer ongoing work throughout the summer months, primarily Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for weekend work.

Requirements of our HGV Hiab Driver:

To be considered, you’ll need:

• A valid HIAB Brick Grab Remote qualification.
• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience operating a HIAB.
• Experience using a Brick Grab attachment.

Duties of our HGV Hiab Driver:

As a HIAB Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving safely and responsibly while complying with all road traffic legislation.
• Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle where required.
• Maintaining good communication with the Driver Hire team regarding your daily progress.

Pay Rates

Paid weekly via PAYE

• £19.05 per hour
• £23.53 per hour overtime

These rates include holiday pay within the hourly rate.

If you would prefer to accrue your holiday pay separately, the rates are:

• £17.00 per hour
• £21.00 per hour overtime

Saturday Rate

• £23.53 per hour (holiday pay included)
• £21.00 per hour (holiday accrued separately)
