Class 2 Skip Driver – Temp to Perm
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £17.30 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am starts
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy and growing operation based in Doncaster.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and motivated driver looking to develop their skills, with the added benefit of in-house training and the opportunity to progress to Class 1 driving!
No previous skip lorry experience is required, as full training will be provided.
About The Role
You will be responsible for safely delivering, exchanging and collecting skips from commercial customer sites across Doncaster and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, professional and confident when dealing with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 skip lorry
- Deliver, exchange and collect skips from customer premises
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Comply with all road traffic legislation and company procedures
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 6 months’ HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous skip lorry experience is advantageous but not essential
- Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle maintenance checks
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
