We are currently recruiting dedicated Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers for ongoing, long-term work with a leading carpet distribution company based in Leeds.
Pay Rates (PAYE Advanced – Holiday Pay Included):
- Basic Rate: £16.14 per hour
- Overtime: £19.28 per hour
Role Overview & What to Expect
- Shift Pattern: Day shifts only (early morning starts).
- Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 8 hours paid per shift, with frequent scope for daily overtime.
- Work Type: Delivering and distributing carpet rolls, flooring products, and related materials across regional routes.
- Physical Requirement: Candidates must be physically fit, as handballing and manual handling (offloading carpet rolls and heavy materials) is a key part of daily operations.

Candidate Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- Minimum 6 months’ Class 2 driving experience preferred
- High level of physical fitness and stamina for manual handballing of heavy stock
- Professional, reliable work ethic with strong geographical knowledge
- No more than 6 points on your licence and minor offences only.
