Class 2 driver looking for more variety, regular work or occasional additional shifts?

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers for a range of opportunities with local transport, construction, industrial and distribution businesses.

We work with different customers offering different types of driving assignments, making this an opportunity for drivers with a variety of backgrounds and preferences.

What sort of work is available?

Depending on customer demand and your experience, assignments may include:

• Local and regional multi-drop deliveries
• Tipper and construction-related work
• Waste and recycling collections
• Industrial and commercial deliveries
• General distribution work
• Occasional shifts or ongoing assignments

Working hours and start times vary depending on the customer and the type of work.

What we’re looking for

You’ll need a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.

Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferred. Drivers with at least 12 months’ experience are encouraged to apply, although requirements vary between customers.

Experience in tipper, waste collection, general haulage or multi-drop work would be useful, but you don’t need experience in every type of work listed.
