HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £16.81 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 40hr+
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Night out allowance: £40
About the Role
We are looking for a Class 2 Drivers to join our client on a permanent basis located in Doncaster. This is a varied driving role that will involve operating Class 2 vehicles, 7.5 tonne vehicles, and vans, supporting the delivery of delicate products.
The successful candidate will be flexible, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and service.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 2, 7.5 tonne, and van vehicles as required
- Deliver delicate products to customers and construction sites
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Load and secure products safely for transportation.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Flexibility to support with 2 nights out per week
What we are looking for:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- CPC and Tacho Qualification
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
- Willingness to undertake 7.5 tonne and van driving duties as required
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and vehicle safety
- Ability to handle manual lifting and loading duties
