Full time | No Tanker Work | No Nights Away | Excellent Overtime
Driver Hire is recruiting for Class 2 Cat C Drivers with an ADR certificate for work based in Warminster.
This is a great opportunity for ADR-qualified drivers who want to stay in ADR work but leave tanker work behind. The ADR is required for the carriage of goods only and not for tanker work.
Most of the work is carried out using curtain-side vehicles, with deliveries typically forklifted on and off, making this a practical, straightforward role for experienced Class 2 drivers. Deliveries are made to rural sites across the South West, so confidence on country roads is important.
What’s on offer:
£17.00 per hour basic pay
£22.00 per hour overtime
£22.00 per hour Saturdays
£31.00 per hour Sundays and Bank Holidays
07:30am starts
Finish times usually between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, depending on routes and workload
No nights away
Plenty of overtime available
Ongoing work with the opportunity for a permanent role
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid ADR certificate
Minimum 2 years’ driving experience
Must be 25 or over due to insurance requirements
This role is ideal for a driver who wants regular daytime work, strong earning potential, no nights out, and a move away from tanker driving while still making use of their ADR qualification.
