Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting for multiple HGV class 2 ADR Drivers (CAT C )on a temp-perm basis with our well known and established client in the Carlisle area. This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role with a possibility of temp-perm after 12 weeks.
The role involves operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle , delivering gas bottles to industrial and commercial premises on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern
The Role for a HGV Driver:
- Shifts run across Monday -Sunday
- 4 on 2 off shift pattern
- Start times from 06:00am
- £17.13-£25.70 per hour PAYE ADV
- £37,852 per annum
- Overtime paid after 8 hours
- Average shift lenght 10-12 hours
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Immediate starts
- Representing both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally
What You’ll Need:
- Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
- In date ADR licence
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
