HGV Class 1 Driver

Our client runs a 7-day operation out of Dalcross, with work ranging from trunking down to the Central Belt through to store deliveries. You’ll work any 5 days out of 7.

• Ongoing position, working any 5 days out of 7
• Salary – £39,956.80
• Hourly rate – £18.08
• 10/12 hour shifts.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Trunking to the Central Belt and delivering to storefronts
• Unloading cages from the back of the trailer at each drop
• Ensuring loads are safe and secure throughout
• Covering Class 2 work when required
• You’ll work any 5 days out of 7.

To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 6 months
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
• A willingness to cover Class 2 work when available

🚛 Typical Duties May Include:

• Performing daily checks on your vehicle
• Delivering windows and doors to customers
• Strapping down of goods
