We are currently seeking a highly experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Driver to join our client’s busy operation in Chessington. This is a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate, following a successful 12-week trial period.
Due to the nature of the role, previous Class 1 driving experience is essential. Candidates must also complete a driving assessment with the client before starting.

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 / Cat C+E licence held for at least 2 years

Minimum 2 years of driving experience

Good command of written and verbal English

Punctual, presentable, and reliable

Willingness to work long hours and occasional Saturdays

Must be flexible to meet the needs of the role
Pay & Hours:
-
Monday to Friday: 05:00 – 16:00

Every other Saturday: 05:00 start (half day)

Paid weekly during the trial period

Standard rate: £18.00/hour (Advance PAYE)

Overtime (after 40 hours/week): £20.00/hour

Saturday half-days: paid at overtime rate of £20.00/hour
