Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook.
This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity, with the successful candidate joining the client on a permanent contract after a successful 12-week qualifying period. Newly qualified ADR licence holders are encouraged to apply – previous ADR driving experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
Working Hours
– 42.5 hours per week
– 6:00am starts, Monday to Friday (please let us know if you are interested in nights, as this may be possible)
– Some Saturday work required
– Overtime paid after 42.5 hours
Pay & Benefits
– £18.85–£21.13 per hour

What You’ll Need
– HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
– Valid Driver CPC
– Digital Tachograph Card
– ADR (Packages) licence
– A minimum of 90 days’ HGV driving experience within the last 12 months (insurance requirement)
– No more than 6 penalty points
– No DD or DR convictions within the last year
Your Responsibilities
– Complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers, including rural locations
– Carry out manual handling as part of your daily duties
– Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point
– Work safely, professionally and in line with all company procedures and transport legislation
