HGV 7.5T Driver – Temp to Perm

Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting an experienced HGV 7.5T (C1) Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established client in Bournemouth.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable professional driver looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work, weekly pay and permanent employment.

🚛 The Job

• Location: Bournemouth
• Hours: 07:00–16:00
• Working days: Monday to Friday
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• No weekends
• No regular overtime
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
• Weekly PAYE pay

💷 Pay Rates

• £14.57 per hour – (PAYE Advanced holiday pay whilst with Driver Hire)
• £32,000 per year – on becoming permanent

📦 Your Responsibilities

As an HGV 7.5T Driver, you will:

• Safely and professionally drive a 7.5T vehicle
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks
• Deliver and handle items weighing up to 20kg
• Safely operate a tail lift and sack truck
• Maintain accurate delivery and service records
• Follow road transport legislation and company procedures
• Communicate professionally with customers and the transport team

✅ What You Need

To apply, you must have:

• A valid UK HGV 7.5T / Category C1 licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid digital tachograph card
• At least 6 months’ recent commercial driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements
• Your own transport to travel to and from the depot
