Driver Hire Reading is currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Drivers to join our team for a variety of warehouse and distribution clients across Reading and the surrounding areas.
Whether you’re looking for ongoing full-time work, occasional shifts to fit around your current job, or a route into a permanent position, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
- Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock within warehouse environments
- Picking and preparing orders
- General warehouse duties as required
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For
- Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Certificate (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent)
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own transport is beneficial but not essential for all locations
