Driver Hire Stockport are looking for Drivers Mate to work for our client who is one of the UK’s top retail outlets. The right candidate must be reliable and have a can do attitude and ideally have transport due to the start and finish times of the shifts.
Due to an increased demand in online shopping, we’re currently looking to add upto x4 drivers mates to work as part of a double-manned home delivery team delivering goods to customers around the north west area.
Shifts:

- Monday to Saturday operation

- AM Shifts 6am-17:00

- PM shifts 10:30am-21:30 ( Please note the candidate must be flexible to work either shifts)

- Saturdays will be required
- 4 on 3 off is the usual shift pattern
This will be ongoing work for the right candidate. Rota is done on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities:

- Working as a 2 man team

- Delivery of white goods around the North

- Loading & unloading the vehicle. * Be proactive

- Liaising with customers on the phone confirming delivery times

- Assisting the driver with the paperwork, getting delivery signatures etc
- Must be physically fit due to nature of the job
Pay:
8.91 for the first 13 weeks.
After 13 weeks the pay will be increased to:
AM – 9.26ph
PM – 9.54ph
Attractive pay rates if working in the warehouse.
