Delivery Driver and Warehouse

Our client based near junction 29 of the M5, is looking for a full time permanent experienced Van Driver and Warehouse Operative.

This is an interesting role which is mainly moving stock in a Luton van with a tailgate. Up to 10 deliveries per day. When the deliveries are complete you will be involved in the day to day operations within their clean, modern warehouse. Duties will include processing goods in and out. This position involves working closely with the project team, to ensure stock and materials are available at the right location, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

• Helping in the Warehouse and Engineers Store
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Use equipment in accordance to safe working practices
• Accurate goods received
• Ensure all goods are correctly labelled and placed in allocated areas
• Safe delivery of goods
• Champion the processing of the recycling and re-use activities
• Safe and timely delivery of equipment

We are looking for

• Previous commercial driving experience (Essential )
• A keen interest in technology, particularly Audio and Visual is welcome
• Attention to detail ( Essential )
• Team focused
• Flexible and adaptable
• Reliable with a positive can do attitude
• Good communicator
• Experience of Microsoft Office Suite ( Desirable)
• Full clean driving licence ( Essential )
• B1 Forklift licence ( Desirable )
• First Aid and Manual Handling Certificate (Desirable)

This role requires a level of fitness, stamina and some physical strength. Some of the working time may be outdoors in all weathers.
