Driver Hire is currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Day Drivers to support a busy transport operation in the Bridgwater area.
This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy active, varied work and are looking for regular driving shifts, temp-to-perm opportunities if successful within the role.
The Role
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, your duties may include:
Carrying out multi-drop deliveries and collections
Delivering chilled and frozen goods
Completing daily vehicle checks
Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
Providing a professional service when visiting customers
Working to planned routes and delivery schedules
Manual handling may be involved, so a good level of fitness is beneficial
A flexible approach is required, as shifts may involve early starts and occasional later finishes depending on routes.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Valid Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
Valid CPC qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph card
Good timekeeping and reliability
A professional attitude
Previous multi-drop experience would be beneficial but is not essential
