Driver Hire is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV HIAB Drivers to support one of our valued clients based in Bridgwater. This is a non building merchant delivery role

The Role
As a Class 2 HGV HIAB Driver, your duties may include:
Delivering bulk supplies to commercial sites
Operating Class 2 vehicles with HIAB equipment
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
Providing excellent customer service on site
Supporting the client with day-to-day transport operations
Completing daily vehicle checks
Ensuring paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
Representing Driver Hire and our client in a professional manner
Following all road transport, driver hours and health and safety regulations
Start times are typically 07:00, Monday to Friday.

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
A valid Class 2 / Category C licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 1 years’ Class 2 driving experience
Minimum 1 year’s HIAB experience required for insurance purposes
HIAB certification preferred
Good communication and safety awareness
A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
