Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland are looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver for an immediate start and this will be on a temp to perm basis for the correct candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for full time position.
The successful candidates will play a vital part in ensuring the operation runs like clockwork. Your day to day role will include delivering coffins/caskets, these can be delivered all around the UK. This would normally be around 7-15 drops daily which will include manual handling, unloading the truck and completing business paperwork stating delivery has been made. You will receive a weekly rota with your start times with full training will be given.
The successful applicant will have:
- Full UK driver’s licence
- Category C on licence
- CPC & Digital tacho card
- 2 years driving experience on the class 2
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- To be physically fit
A typical working week will consist of working any 5 day a week, Monday to Friday, with shift times starting between 0200 – 0500.
Rates of £14.10 per hour.
