Forklift Driver/Class 2 Relief Driver – Stanton Harcourt, Witney
£35,254 per year + Bonus (£500–£1,000) | Temp to Perm | Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Forklift Driver with a Class 2 licence looking for a stable, long-term role with great benefits?
Our client, a leading supplier of building materials, is looking for a Counterbalance or Reach truck Forklift/Class 2 Relief Driver to join their busy branch in Stanton Harcourt, Witney.
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm role where you’ll initially be employed by Driver Hire Oxford and paid weekly, before moving onto a permanent contract with the client.
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £35,254 + annual bonus (£500-£1,000 depending on site performance)
Hours:
- Yard shifts: 08:00–17:00 (Monday–Friday)
- Relief Class 2 driving shifts: 06:00–16:00 (Monday–Friday)
- Pay: £16.00 per hour PAYE Adv while temping

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating the counterbalance forklift – moving, loading, and picking building materials in the yard/warehouse
- Helping with stock control, storage, and keeping the site safe and tidy
- Covering Class 2 relief driving shifts – typically 3-4 deliveries and 1-2 collections per day (mainly insulation products)
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have – Current Counterbalance or Reach truck Forklift licence (preferably accredited within the last 3 years – AITT, ALLMI, CPCS, ITSSAR, NPORS or RTITB)
- Must have – Valid HGV Class 2 licence with up-to-date CPC & Digi card
- Experience in forklift/warehouse duties and Class 2 driving
- Reliable, motivated and safety-conscious with good communication skills
