Class 2 HIAB Driver – Temporary Cover
Location: Seahouses Branch, NE68 7UP
Company: Driver Hire Borders
Dates: Monday 7th September (for 2/3weeks).
Pay: £16.08 per hour on PAYE / £18 per hour on advanced holiday pay.
Driver Hire Borders are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to provide short‑term cover at our client’s Seahouses Branch.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable HIAB driver looking for well‑paid, short‑term work with a reputable driving agency. Other work will be available for the right candidate before and after this contract.
Role Details
- Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
- Operating a HIAB crane for customer deliveries
- Monday to Friday work (07.30-17.00)
- Professional, customer‑facing role
Requirements (Essential)
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- HIAB ticket (ALLMI or equivalent)
- Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HIAB experience preferred
- Good knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices
