Driver Hire Romford is currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to work with a well-established company based in the Romford (RM) postcode area.
Job Specification:
You will be representing a leading company in the construction and distribution industry, delivering materials to customers across London and Essex. As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of goods, operating a HIAB vehicle and ensuring materials are unloaded safely and efficiently.
- Location: Romford (RM Postcode)
- Role: Class 2 HIAB Driver
- Deliveries: Multidrop deliveries across London and Essex
- Operating a HIAB crane to load and unload materials safely
- Ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and on time
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
What You Need:
- A current and valid Class 2 (Cat C) Licence minimum 6 points.
- Minimum 1 year of HGV driving experience
- Valid HIAB Certificate
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Clean UK driving licence (minor points may be considered)
- Good knowledge of London and Essex routes
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Own transport to commute to and from the workplace
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Pay & Benefits:
- £19–£20 per hour
- PAYE only
- Guaranteed 8 hours’ pay per shift
