Driver Hire Warwick is recruiting on behalf of a well-established flooring distribution business based in Rugby (CV21). Supplying products across the region, the company distributes carpets, astro turf, vinyl flooring, floor tiles, and other flooring products to both commercial and residential customers.

We are looking for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join their growing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential of a permanent position.

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries throughout the region
• Delivering carpets, astro turf, floor tiles, vinyl flooring, and associated products
• Heavy manual handling and handball involved
• Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles
• Using vehicle-mounted winches to support the unloading of large carpet and flooring rolls
• Some flooring rolls can weigh over 1 tonne
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience required
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport regulations
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

Pay & Benefits

• £15.69 per hour (including holiday pay)
• PAYE accrued holiday pay rates also available
• Monday to Friday work
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
• Weekly pay
• Ongoing work with the potential to become permanent
• Immediate starts available
