Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking an enthusiastic Class 2 Driver to join one of our clients in Redhill. This role involves the delivery and maintenance of water equipment in companies and households. This is a full-time position offering a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role
- Up to 7-15 deliveries per shift, depending on route distance
- Start time 06:00 am (Min of 8 hours guaranteed)
- Safe loading and unloading of goods
- Costumer services skills
- Completion and accuracy of all delivery paperwork
- Daily vehicle checks in line with health & safety regulations
- Ensuring full compliance with all driving regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 3 penalty points (no major endorsements – CD/IN/DR/TT)
- Would need to live within 10 miles of the workplace in Redhill
- Good navigational skills
- Right to work in the UK
- A responsible and safety-focused approach to driving
