Class 2 Driver- Drainage Tanker

The Role

Driver Hire Gatwick are currently seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tanker units for drainage and waste management work. Shift pattern include weekends

Location: Sevenoaks

Pay: £18 per hour (via umbrella). Minimum of 8 hours guaranteed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vacuum tankers safely and efficiently on drainage and waste management tasks
• Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe working practices and high-quality results
• Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts
• Accurately complete job reports and system/system updates
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any defects promptly
• Maintain high health and safety standards, including correct PPE use and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) manual HGV licence
• Green CSCS card (essential)
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience with vacuum tankers or drainage work preferred (training may be provided)
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
