HGV Class 2 Driver (13 week Temp-to-Perm)
Our client is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on a 13 week temp to perm. Our client is within the kitchen manufacturing and delivery sector.
This is an urgent requirement, with a view to start as soon as possible following interview and induction.
Role Overview:
- Delivery of kitchen units to retail and contract customers across the UK.
- Manual handling of kitchen components is a key part of the role.
- Up to 2–3 nights out per week required (overnight allowances paid).
- Responsible for timely, safe, and professional deliveries.
- Compliance with EU Drivers’ Hours Rules and Working Time Directive.
Requirements:
- Category C (Class 2) Licence – with a clean driving record.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Physically fit – capable of manual handling.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
- Multi-drop or home delivery experience is desirable.
- 2 – 3 nights out a week.

Once permanent with the client:
- £16.72 per hour
- Holiday entitlement – 25 days
- Bonuses/Staff incentives – monthly rewards
- £25 per night out plus extra £15 per night out if sleeping in cab = £40
