Class 2 Driver

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for regular work with consistent hours, weekly pay, and the support of a dedicated local transport recruitment team.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to commercial and residential customers across the North East and surrounding areas.

Duties will include:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries efficiently and safely
• Loading and unloading vehicles where required
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Adhering to drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive regulations

This is a long-term supply assignment with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card
• Digital Tachograph card
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
• Good geographical knowledge of the North East
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to perform manual handling duties
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
