Temporary Class 2 Driver (HGV Class 2) – East Kilbride

Job Type: Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our busy carpet and flooring company based in East Kilbride on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver carpets, flooring, and related products to customers across Scotland.
- Safely load, transport, and unload goods.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
- Assist with manual handling as required.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety.
- Previous multidrop delivery experience is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role.
