Driver Hire Yeovil is recruiting an experienced Class 2 ADR Driver for a fantastic permanent, full-time position based in Salisbury.
You’ll be joining an established operation delivering gas cylinders to commercial customers and residential properties across Salisbury and the wider surrounding region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ADR-qualified driver looking for the stability of a permanent Monday-to-Friday role, regular start times and the option to significantly increase earnings through overtime and weekend work.
With a basic rate of £17.00 per hour and weekend rates reaching up to £29.00 per hour, this role offers strong earning potential without requiring you to work weekends as part of your standard week.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your role will include:
Driving a Class 2 HGV vehicle
Delivering gas cylinders to commercial and residential customers
Completing deliveries across Salisbury and the surrounding region
Loading, securing and safely handling deliveries
Carrying out daily vehicle and load safety checks
Following all ADR procedures and regulations
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
Working safely and efficiently throughout your route
You’ll generally start at around 07:00 Monday to Friday, giving you a consistent working pattern.
Additional overtime and weekend shifts are available for drivers who want to increase their earnings.

What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you will need:
Full UK driving licence
Category C / Class 2 HGV entitlement
Valid Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Valid ADR qualification
Minimum 1 year of Class 2 HGV driving experience
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
Strong awareness of vehicle, load and ADR safety
Good customer service skills
A reliable and professional approach
Previous experience delivering cylinders, gas products or other ADR loads would be advantageous.
